Northern California Rankings Week 12

1. San Francisco (21-1) The Rams remain at the top of the rankings following another 2-0 week in the Coast North Conference. San Francisco cruised past Las Positas and Skyline last week in conference action. The Rams have won 17 straight games and are 7-1 against teams that are ranked inside of our rankings. This week the Rams will be in action one time as San Francisco will face Ohlone on the road on Wednesday.

2. Fresno (18-3) The Rams remain at number two in the rankings after picking up two wins in the Central Valley Conference last week. Fresno slipped past West Hills 84-83 and followed that up with a huge road win against Reedley 100-59. The Rams are 6-3 against teams that are ranked within our rankings and have won 12 straight games and will face Merced on the road on Wednesday and follow that up against Cerro Coso on Saturday on the road.

3. Butte (17-3) The Roadrunners stay put at number three following two wins in Golden Valley Conference action. Butte knocked off Feather River 90-53, and cruised past Siskiyous 86-65 in two games last week. Butte is 3-2 against teams that are ranked within our rankings and have won six straight games. This week the Roadrunners are in action one time as Butte will face off against Lassen on the road on Saturday.

4. Yuba (16-5) The 49ers remain at number four in the rankings after picking up three wins last week. Yuba picked up wins against Merritt, Mendocino and Alameda last week to move to 8-1 in Bay Valley Conference action. Yuba has won seven straight and the 49ers have a 3-3 record against teams that are ranked within our rankings. This week the 49ers will face off against Los Medanos at home on Wednesday and follow that up with a road game against Solano on Friday.

5. Santa Rosa (16-4) The leaders of the Big 8 Conference come in at number five as Santa Rosa picked up two wins last week. Santa Rosa picked up a road win over American River and followed that up with a home win against Diablo Valley 80-54. The Bearcubs have a 4-2 record against teams that are ranked and are on a 12 game winning streak. This week, the Bearcubs will face Folsom Lake on the road on Tuesday and follow that up with a home game against 15th ranked San Joaquin Delta at home.

6. Gavilan (18-2) The Rams remain at number six in the rankings after picking up two wins last week in Coast South Conference action. Gavilan picked up wins against Monterey on the road and followed that up with a huge win against Hartnell at home 86-75. Gavilan is 2-0 against teams that are ranked within our rankings and are at the top of the Coast South Conference. Gavilan will have one game this week as the Rams will face San Jose on the road on Wednesday.

7. Foothill (16-6) The Owls move up one spot in the rankings after going 2-0 last week in Coast North Conference action. Foothill picked up wins against Skyline at home and followed that up with a big win against Canada at home as the Owls remain in 2nd place in Coast North Conference action. Foothill is 1-4 against teams within our rankings and the Owls have won nine of thier last ten and are one of the hottest teams in the state. This week Foothill will have one game as they will face Chabot at home on Friday night.

8. Sequoias (14-6) The Giants move up one spot in the rankings after going 2-0 last week in Central Valley Conference action. Sequoias picked up wins against Cerro Coso (106-47) and cruised past Porterville 91-56 in conference action. The Giants have won four straight wins and have a 3-3 record against teams that are in our rankings this week. This week Sequoias will face off against 10th ranked West Hills on the road and follow that up with another road game against 9th ranked Columbia in Central Valley Conference action.

9. Columbia (11-5) The Claimjumpers move up one spot in the rankings after going 2-0 last week. Columbia picked up a win against Porterville and they followed that up with a home win against West Hills to move into 2nd place in the Central Valley Conference. Columbia has won six of their last seven games and have a 4-3 record against teams that are ranked within our rankings. This week, the Claimjumpers will face Cerro Coso on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against 8th ranked Sequoias on Saturday.

10. West Hills (13-4) The Falcons drop two spots in the rankings after suffering two losses last week in Central Valley Conference action. West Hills lost to Fresno on the road 84-83 and followed that up with another loss against Columbia 76-71 last week. West Hills is 1-2 against teams that are ranked within our weekly rankings and the Falcons will have two games this upcoming week. West Hills will face 8th ranked Sequoias at home on Wednesday and follow that up with another home game in Coalinga on Saturday against Reedley.

11. Modesto (14-7) The Pirates move up two spots in the rankings after winning two games last week in Big Eight Conference action. Modesto has won four straight games and seven of their last eight as Modesto picked up a win against Folsom Lake and Sacramento last week. Modesto is 3-2 against teams that are ranked within our rankings and will have one game this week. The Pirates will travel to Pleasant Hill and face Diablo Valley on Tuesday in Big 8 Conference action in their lone game of the week.

12.  Las Positas (14-7) The Hawks drop one spot in the rankings are going 1-1 last week in Coast North Conference action. Las Positas suffered a big defeat against San Francisco and followed that up with a big win against Chabot 102-83 to pick up their second win in conference. The Hawks are 0-4 against teams that are ranked within our rankings and have struggled in Coast North Conference play. Las Positas will have two games this week as they will face Skyline on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with another road game against Ohlone on Friday.

13. Napa Valley (11-8) The Storm continue to roll picking up another win last week and move up one spot in the rankings. Napa Valley picked up a 60-56 home win against Marin to move to 7-1 in Bay Valley Conference action. Napa has won eight of their last nine games and have a 0-4 record against teams that are ranked within our rankings. This week the Storm will face Merritt on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against Mendocino on Friday in Bay Valley Conference action.

14. Shasta (12-9) The Knights come into the rankings at number fourteen after picking up a road victory against Feather River last week as Shasta is one game behind Butte in the Golden Valley Conference. Shasta is 3-2 against teams that are ranked within our weekly rankings and this week will face Redwoods at home on Thursday and follow that up with a road game against Siskiyous on Saturday in conference action.

15. San Joaquin Delta (9-8) The Mustangs come into the rankings for the first time this season after winning their fifth straight last week. Delta picked up wins against American River and Diablo Valley in Big 8 Conference action last week. Delta has turned their conference around after losing their first two games and the Mustangs are 0-6 against teams that are ranked. This week, Delta will face Sacramento on the road on Tuesday and follow that up with a road game against 5th ranked Santa Rosa on Friday.
