Week 11 Northern California Rankings


1.San Francisco (19-1) The Rams remain at the top of the rankings after going 2-0 last week in Coast North Conference action. San Francisco picked up wins against Foothill and Canada and won their 15th straight game since losing to Sequoias on November 17th. The Rams are 5-1 against teams that are currently ranked within our rankings. This week the Rams will face Las Positas on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against Skyline on Friday.

2. Fresno (16-3) The Rams remain at number two in the rankings after winning two games last week. Fresno went on the road and picked up a win against Columbia and crushed Porterville 128-52 in Central Valley Conference action. Fresno has won ten straight games and the Rams are 4-3 against teams that are ranked within our rankings. This week, Fresno will face West Hills at home on Wednesday and follow that up with a road game against Reedley on Saturday in Central Valley Conference action.

3. Butte (15-3) The Roadrunners move up one spot in the rankings following a loss to Gavilan last week. Butte picked up wins against Redwoods and Shasta to open up Golden Valley Conference action. Butte is 3-2 against teams within our rankings this season and the Roadrunners will face 12th ranked Feather River on Wednesday at home and follow that up with a road game against Siskiyous on Saturday.

4. Yuba (14-5) The 49ers move up one spot in the rankings after going 3-0 last week in Bay Valley Conference action. Yuba picked up wins against Marin, Napa Valley, and Merritt to move atop the Bay Valley Conference. The 49ers have a 3-3 record against teams ranked within our weekly rankings and this week Yuba will face Mendocino on Wednesday and follow that up with a road game against Alameda on Friday in their two games this week.

5. Santa Rosa (14-4) The Bearcubs move into the top five after picking up three wins last week. Santa Rosa picked up wins against Modesto, Cosumnes River and Sierra in Big 8 Conference action and stayed perfect in Big 8 Conference action at 7-0. Santa Rosa is 5-1 against teams that are ranked and the Bearcubs are on a 10 game winning streak. Next up for Santa Rosa is American River tomorrow on the road followed by a Friday home game against Diablo Valley.

6. Gavilan (16-2) The Rams drop three spots in the rankings after going 1-1 last week in Coast South Conference action. Gavilan picked up a win against De Anza but suffered a setback aginast Cabrillo at home. The Rams are 3-0 against teams that are ranked within this weeks rankings. This week, Gavilan will face Monterey on the road and follow up with a home game against 15th ranked Hartnell on Friday.

7. West Hills (13-2) The Falcons move up two spots in the rankings after going 2-0 last week in Central Valley Conference action. West Hills picked up wins against Porterville and Cerro Coso and have now won five straight games. West Hills is 1-0 against teams that are ranked within our rankings. This week, the Falcons will have two games as West Hills will take on 2nd ranked Fresno on Wednesday on the road and then travel to Sonora and face 10th ranked Columbia on Saturday.

8. Foothill (14-6) The Owls drop one spot in the rankings after going 1-1 last week. Foothill picked up a win against Ohlone but suffered a set back against top ranked San Francisco. Foothill has a 3-4 record against teams ranked within our rankings and this week, the Owls will take on Skyline on Wednesday at home and follow that up with a home game against Canada on Friday.

9. Sequoias (12-6) The Giants move up two spots in the rankings after going 2-0 last week. Sequoias evened out their record in conference picking up wins against Merced and Reedley last week in Central Valley Conference action. Sequoias has a 3-3 record against teams that are ranked and this week, the Giants will take on Cerro Coso in Visalia on Wednesday and follow that up with a road game against Porterville on Saturday.

10. Columbia (9-5) The Claimjumpers remain at the same spot as last week after going 1-1 last week. Columbia picked up a win against Merced but suffered a close loss to Fresno at home. Columbia has a 3-2 record against teams that are ranked in this weeks rankings. This week, the Claimjumpers will face Porterville on the road on Wednesday and follow that up against 7th ranked West Hills at home on Saturday.

11. Las Positas (13-6) The Hawks drop three spots in the rankings after suffering a huge loss against Canada last week in Coast North Conference action. Las Positas is 1-3 against teams that are ranked within our rankings. The Hawks will be in action twice this week as Las Positas will face top ranked San Francisco on Wednesday and follow that up against Chabot at home on Friday for their second game of the week.

12. Feather River (13-6) The Golden Eagles move up two spots in the rankings after picking up a win over Lassen last week. Feather River is 1-3 against teams that are ranked and will go into the week as the Golden Eagles will have two games. Feather River will face 3rd ranked Butte on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game on Saturday against Shasta.

13. Modesto (12-7) The Pirates drop one spot in the rankings after going 2-1 last week. Modesto lost to Santa Rosa and followed that up with wins against American River and Cosumnes River in Big 8 action. Modesto is 2-3 against teams that are ranked and this week the Pirates will have two games this week. Modesto will face Folsom Lake on Tuesday and follow that up with a home game against Sacramento on Friday.

14. Napa Valley (10-8) The Storm come back into the rankings since exiting early in the season. Napa Valley went 2-1 last week and the Storm have won seven of eight and are atop the Bay Valley Conference. The Storm are 0-6 against teams that are ranked within our rankings but are making a post season push as they keep winning in conference. This week, the Storm will have one game as Napa Valley will face Marin on Wednesday in their lone game of the week.

15. Hartnell (10-6) The Panthers come into the rankings for the first time this season after picking up two wins last week. Hartnell is leading the Coast South Confernece with a 3-0 record and the Panthers have a 0-3 record against teams that are ranked within our rankings. This week, Hartnell will face De Anza on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with another road game against 6th ranked Gavilan on Friday night.
