Signal The Light Basketball Northern California Player of the month

Elijah White (So) “5-9” (Skyline College): White has been a force for the only undefeated team in Northern California. The point guard has averaged 21.5 points and 4.9 assist and led the Trojans to a 8-0 record and a top 5 ranking in the Signal The Light Basketball NorCal rankings. White is shooting 41% from the 3 point line, and is shooting 51% from the floor. White exploded for 27 points against a tough Lassen team, and scored 30 points against Solano on November 15th.

F: Zavon Jackson (So) “6-5” Cabrillo

Elijah White had a November to Remember as Skyline’s point guard has been a key piece to the Trojans 7-0 start. The sophomore is averaging 21.5 points, 4.9 assist, 5.2 rebounds and is averaging 3.2 steals as well. White has made 41% of his three pointers as well and is having a great start this season. Jarrell Tate has exploded on the scene as well as a standout freshman for Feather River. The “6-5” freshman from Birmingham, Alabama is averaging 24.7 points and 9.1 rebounds. He is shooting 62% from the field and exploded for 30 points and 8 rebounds against Chabot. The one weakness Tate has showed is his ability to shoot free throws (52%), and he gets there often (95 times in 9 games). Julian Harrell can flat out shoot the basketball as he put on a shooting display against Mt. San Antonio at the Fresno Tournament by knocking down 8 of 12. The University of Pennsylvania transfer is averaging 18.1 points and 5.7 rebounds and shooting 50% from behind the arc. (24 of 48). Arthur Caldwell has had two 30 point games and has a great start for Butte. Caldwell is averaging 23.3 points and 6.7 rebounds and exploded for 30 points and 10 rebounds against Columbia last week. Jackson has averaged a double double for Cabrillo this season averaging 10.6 and 12.4 rebounds. The “6-5” sophomore has been in double digits in rebounds in all of his eight games played and has 6 double doubles on the season for Cabrillo.

G: Crisshawn Clark “6-5” (Fr) Canada

G: Rohndell Goodwin “6-5” (So) Canada

F: Brantley Bynum “6-5” (So) Sequoias

C: Troy Anderson “6-5” (So) San Joaquin Delta

Jordan Belasco is having another stand out season for the Mustangs. Belasco is averaging 14.6 points and 9.0 assist and has been very effective this season.  Belasco is shooting 45% from downtown and has a 2.6 to 1 turnover ratio through November. Crisshawn Clark and Rohndell Goodwin have been excellent for the Colts this season. The solid one two punch has led Canada to a 6-1 record. The Colts are averaging over 90 points a game and both these players are having standout seasons. Goodwin is shooting 50% from downtown and over 80% from the line this season. Brantley Bynum has been a bright spot for the underachieving Giants. The sophomore is averaging 15.4 points and 7.2 rebounds on the season for the 3-6 team. Bynum is shooting 61% from the field and has two double doubles on the season including a 27 point 14 rebound effort against Mendocino. Troy Anderson  is averaging 13.4 points and 12.0 rebounds for the season for San Joaquin Delta. He has three double doubles and is shooting 58% from the floor on the season.

Jarrell Tate “6-5” Feather River: The Freshman from Birmingham, Alabama has been an outstanding this season for the 11th ranked Golden Eagles. Tate has averaged 24.7 points and 9.1 rebounds and has been a key piece for Feather River this season. Tate is shooting 62% from the floor and also averages 3.3 assist per game. Tate leads the Golden Eagles in points, rebounds, and assist for the season.
