Rams win Golden Gate Classic

Golden Gate Classic

In the championship game of the Golden Gate Classic, 2nd ranked San Francisco (9-1) routed unranked Contra Costa 105-59 to bring home the championship. Jordan Strane had 13 points and 4 rebounds and Trevon Silas added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for Contra Costa (3-3).

In the third place game, Brandynn Manning had 20 points and Ben Wood added 18 points as 6th ranked Diablo Valley (6-3) blew out top ranked Sequoias 77-58 to take home third place.

In the consolation final of the Golden Gate Classic, Josh Gonzalez had 22 points and 6 rebounds and Kenny Olsem added 21 points and 8 rebounds as Sierra (4-4) picked up a 76-68 win over Skyline (5-6) to bring home the consolation championship.

Citrus Tournament

In the final day of the Citrus Tournament, Jason Richardson had 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists and Vaj Rice added 17 points and 5 rebounds as 6th ranked Fullerton (7-3) cruised past 11th ranked Canada 75-53 on Sunday afternoon. Keith Dickerson had 17 points and 5 rebounds, and Salafai Osiomalo added 14 points and 3 rebounds in the loss for Canada (6-5)

In other action, Nick Hart had 21 points and 7 rebounds, and Solomon Hunt added 21 points and 9 rebounds as 4th ranked East Los Angeles (7-2) knocked off Southwestern 76-62 on Sunday. Emilio Arrelano had 18 points and 5 rebounds and Jose Serrano added 12 points and 4 rebounds in the loss for Southwestern (3-8).

In the final game of the tournament, Jeremy Smith had 27 points and Kyle Gray added 23 points and 8 rebounds as 3rd ranked Citrus (10-2) won their seventh straight game with a 89-86 win over Cuesta (2-6). Noah Saunders had 23 ponits and 7 rebounds, and Rodrigo Majarin added 16 points in the loss for the Cougars.

Grossmont Tournament

In the championship game of the Grossmont Tournament, Wonder Smith had 30 points and Ethan Esposito added 16 points as 5th ranked San Diego (13-2) blew out 8th ranked Grossmont 96-67 to take home the championship. Bryce Parsons had 17 points and 5 rebounds, and David Wheeler added 18 points in the loss for Grossmont (8-3) in the loss.

In the third place game, Jackson Strong made five three pointers, and had 21 points and 6 rebounds, and Matt Meyers added 14 points and 5 rebounds as Palomar (6-4) knocked off Los Angeles Southwest 61-48 to take home 3rd place. D’Lano Beckels had 23 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for Los Angeles Southwest (3-6).

In the consolation final, Nathan Clark had 16 points and 4 rebounds, and Michael Obi added 15 points and 9 rebounds as 15th ranked Victor Valley (7-2) beat Moorpark 80-59 to win the consolation championship on Sunday afternoon. Cole Micek had 16 points and Garrett Bilby added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the loss for Moorpark (3-6).

Gregg Anderson Memorial tournament

In the championship game, Craig LeCesne had 24 points and 8 rebounds, and Kevin McNeal added 14 points and 5 rebounds as top ranked San Bernardino (10-0) won thier tenth straight game with a 81-74 win over De Anza (5-4). Terrance Jackson had 24 points and 6 rebounds, and Isaac Acevado added 16 points in the loss for the Dons.

In the third place game, D’Mauria Jones had 28 points and 8 rebounds, and Greg Floyd added 16 points and 4 rebounds as Antelope Valley (5-5) cruised past 13th ranked Ventura 83-54 to take home third place. Jacob Alonzo had 18 points in the loss for Ventura (9-4) in the loss.

In the consolation final, Joel Anderson had 31 points and 7 rebounds, Henry Johnson added 25 points and 6 assists, and Quincy Pinkard added 19 points as Los Angeles Harbor (6-4) blew out Mira Costa 124-100 to bring home the consolation title. Cody Hicks had 15 points and 6 rebounds, and Cole Barton added 15 points and 5 assist in the loss for Mira Costa (4-6).

Mountie Classic

In the first game of the day, Isiah Davis had 28 points and 7 rebounds and Deon Steward added 18 points and 10 rebounds as Merritt (2-4) beat Middlesbrook Academy 88-85.

In the second game of the day, Orange Coast (5-5) won their third straight game with a 76-64 win over Imperial Valley (2-10). Maurice White had 16 points and Marquise Ellison added 15 points in the loss for the Arabs.

In Other action 10th ranked Cerritos (8-2) picked up a 63-58 win over Mt. San Antonio (3-6). Evan Counsil had 16 points and Marc Howard Jr. And Minfeke Sanoe each added 15 points in the loss.

Aptos, CA – Foothill 77 Cabrillo 67

Alex Gil-Fernandez had 24 points and DeAngelo Blackwell added 17 points as Foothill (5-4) got past Cabrillo 77-67 on Sunday afternoon. Linton Acliese had 23 points and Kobe Ordonio added 14 points in the loss for Cabrillo (4-5) who lost their fourth straight game.
