Santa Ana, CA – (13) West Los Angeles 72 Santa Ana 52
Deandre Brown scored 20 points and Brandon Hood added 13 points and led 13th ranked West Los Angeles (2-0) to a victory over Santa Ana 72-52. West Los Angeles led by 4 at halftime and pulled away in the second half. Du’Juan Williams led Santa Ana (2-4) with 16 points in the loss.
Visalia, CA – De Anza 67 Sequoias 63
De Anza (1-4) picked up their first win of the season with a road victory Wednesday night in Visalia against College of the Sequoias 67-63. DJ Rodriguez scored 18 points and grabbed 7 rebounds, and point guard Nathan Vieira added 18 points in the Dons first victory of the season. Chris Smith led Seqoias (2-6) with 15 points in the loss.
Norwalk, CA – Allan Hancock 68 Cerritos 52
Andre Miller scored 20 points and pulled down 12 rebounds, and Lavell White scored 13 points as Allan Hancock (2-4) beat Cerritos 68-52. The Bulldogs led by six at the break and pulled away in the second half. Micah Winn scored 23 points in a losing effort for Cerritos (1-4).
