San Diego tops SoCal rankings in Week 12

Week 12 Southern California Rankings

1. San Diego (22-2) The Knights are still at the top of the rankings in Southern California in Week 13. Last week San Diego picked up wins against Grossmont and Southwestern to move to 3-0 in conference action. San Diego is 11-2 against teams that are ranked within our rankings this season. This week the Knights will have two games on the road as San Diego will face Imperial Valley on Wednesday and follow that up with another road game against San Diego Mesa on Friday.

2. Citrus (20-3) The Owls remain number two in the rankings after Citrus picked up two more wins last week. Citrus picked up a win against Victor Valley and followed that up with a win over Glendale at home over the weekend. Citrus is 17-1 in their last 18 games and have a 3-2 record against teams within our rankings. Citrus will face 14th ranked Antelope Valley at home on Wednesday and follow that up with a road game against Barstow on Saturday in Western State East Conference action.

3. San Bernardino (19-4) The Wolverines remain at number after picking up two wins last week. San Bernardino cruised past Mira Costa and College of the Desert in conference action and the Wolverines have won six games straight. San Bernardino is 8-1 against teams within our rankings and two of their of their four losses have come against National Jucos in the states. This week, the Wolverines will face 11th ranked San Diego Miramar at home on Wednesday and take on Mt. San Jacinto at home on Friday in Pacific Coast North Conferene action.

4. Cerritos (17-4) The Falcons move up two spots in the rankings after going 2-0 last week. Cerritos picked up wins over El Camino and Compton last week in South Coast South Conference action. The Falcons have a 5-4 record against teams within our rankings this season. Cerritos has won seven of eight games and this week the Falcons will face Los Angeles Southwest on Wednesday at home and follow that up with a road game against Los Angeles Harbor on Friday.

5. East Los Angeles (16-5) The Huskies drop one spot in the rankings after going 1-1 last week in conference action. East Los Angeles cruised past Pasadena but suffered a road loss to Mt. San Antonio in South Coast North Conference action. The Huskies are 4-3 against teams within our rankings and this week East Los Angeles will face Rio Hondo on Wednesday at home and follow that up against Los Angeles Trade Tech on Friday in their two games this week.

6. Fullerton (15-6) The Hornets drop one spot in the rankings after going 1-1 last week in Orange Empire Conference action. Fullerton picked up a close victory over Copper Mountain but suffered a set back against Santiago Canyon. The Hornets are 5-6 against teams that are ranked inside of our rankings this season. This week, Fullerton have one game this week as the Hornets will face Santa Ana on Friday at home.

7. Chaffey (14-7) The Panthers move up two spots in the rankings after picking up two wins last week. Chaffey picked up a 60-58 win over Mt. San Antonio and followed that up with a 65-63 overtime win over Rio Hondo. Chaffey is 8-1 in their last nine games and the Panthers have a 1-4 against teams that are ranked in our weekly rankings. This week the Panthers will face Los Angeles Trade Tech on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against Pasadena on Friday.

8. Copper Mountain (16-6) The Fighting Cacti drop one spot in the rankings after losing to Fullerton last week. Copper Mountain is 3-2 in Orange Empire Conference action and have a 4-4 record against teams ranked inside of our weekly rankings. Copper Mountain will be in action twice this week as the Fighting Cacti will face 13th ranked Orange Coast on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against Cypress on Friday.

9. Grossmont (13-7) The Griffins drop one spot in the rankings after going 1-1 last week. Grossmont crushed Imperial Valley but suffered a set back against the top ranked team in Southern California. The Griffins are 0-6 against teams within our weekly rankings this season. This week, Grossmont will face Cuyamaca on Wednesday and follow that up with a road game against Southwestern on Friday.

10. Santiago Canyon (15-6) The Hawks remain at number ten after going 1-1 last week in Orange Empire Conference action. Last week, Santiago Canyon lost on the road to Saddleback but picked up a huge win against Fullerton last week. Santiago Canyon has a 3-3 record against teams within our rankings. This week, the Hawks will face Santa Ana at home on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against Riverside on Friday.

11. San Diego Miramar (15-6) The Jets remain at number eleven following a 2-0 week. San Diego Miramar picked up wins last week against Desert and Palomar in Pacific Coast North Conference play. The Jets are 4-3 against teams ranked within our rankings and ended their two game losing streak last week. This week, Miramar will face 3rd ranked San Bernardino on the road on Wednesday and face Mira Costa at home on Saturday in conference action.

12. Ventura (14-7) The Pirates move up one spot in the rankings after picking up a win last week. Ventura needed overtime but the Pirates beat Moorpark to stay undefeated in Western State North Conference action. Ventura is 2-5 against teams that are ranked within our rankings. This week the Pirates will be on the court one twice this week as Ventura will host Oxnard on Wednesday and follow that up with a road game against Santa Barbara on Saturday.

13. Orange Coast (13-7) The Pirates move up one spot in the rankings after picking up a win last week. Orange Coast won their fourth straight game after edging Santa Ana on the road to stay on top of the Orange Empire Conference. Orange Coast is 3-2 against teams within our rankings and the Pirates will have two games this upcoming week. The Pirates will face 8th ranked Copper Mountain at home on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against Irvine Valley on Friday.

14. Antelope Valley (13-10) The Marauders come into the rankings at number fourteen after winning their third straight game last week. Antelope Valley picked up wins against Los Angeles Valley and Antelope Valley to state undefeated in Western State East Conference. Antelope Valley has a 2-5 record against teams that are ranked and will have two games this week in conference action. On Wednesday, the Marauders will face 2nd ranked Citrus on the road, and follow that up with a home game against Glendale on Saturday.

15. Saddleback (11-10) The Gauchos return to the rankings for the first time in several weeks. Saddleback picked up a win against Santiago Canyon but did suffer a loss against Riverside. Saddleback is 2-6 against teams that are ranked within our rankings. This week, the Gauchos will face Cypress on Wednesday in their lone game of the week in Orange Empire Conference action.
