Overton had 23 points and 11 rebounds and Shawn Stith added 17 points and 5 rebounds as 12th ranked Saddleback (10-7, 1-0) overcame a 10 point halftime deficit and used a big second half run to pick up a 89-63 road win against Cypress (11-6, 0-1) in conference action. Kyle Small had 16 points and Kameron Barnes added 11 points in the loss for the Chargers.

Ezekiel Alley had 16 points and 7 rebounds and Ronne Readus added 12 points and 12 rebounds as top ranked Fullerton (16-1, 1-0) opened up Orange Empire Conference action with a 75-58 home win against 10th ranked Riverside (11-6, 0-1). CJ Clark had 20 points and 5 rebounds and Tyree Winborn added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Tigers.

Irvine, CA – Orange Coast 69 Irvine Valley 67

Jonathan IIeleji had 17 points and Malik Skillern added 14 points as Orange Coast (3-14, 1-0) opened up conference with a 69-67 road win over Irvine Valley (3-14, 0-1). Isaiah Mahmud had 20 points and made four three pointers and Geoff Salas added 15 points in the loss for the Lasers.

Paulo Araujo had 19 points and Tyler Goodlow added 13 points and made a late free throw to help 15th ranked Santiago Canyon (12-5, 1-0) open up conference play with a 79-78 win over Copper Mountain (10-7, 0-1). Anthony Rice had 25 points and 7 assists and Will Valsien added 23 points in the loss for the Fighting Cacti.

Deschon Winston had 22 points and 4 rebounds and Niamey Harris added 18 points and 5 assists as top ranked San Francisco (16-1, 1-0) opened up conference action with a 96-61 win over Skyline (6-11, 0-1).

Redwood City, CA – Chabot 75 (9) Canada 64

Jabari Sweet had 21 points and 8 rebounds and Jordan McGlory added 16 points and 10 rebounds as Chabot (8-9, 1-0) opened up Coast North Conference action with a 75-64 road win over 9th ranked Canada (13-4, 0-1). Josh Blueford had 12 points and Kaden Bradley added 10 points in the loss for the Colts.

Los Altos, CA – (5) Las Positas 73 Foothill 65

Michael Hayes and Alafia Oluwasogo each had 23 points and 10 rebounds as 5th ranked Las Positas (12-3, 1-0) opened up conference action with a 73-65 road win over Foothill (6-10, 0-1). Ashonti Hunter had 17 points and Jamar Gaddis added 14 points for the Owls which lost their sixth straight game.

Tristan Forsyth had 20 points and 7 rebounds and Mike Johnson made four three pointers and had 19 points as 15th ranked Sequoias (8-7, 1-2) picked up their first conference win cruising past Reedley 87-37 at home. Uriah Carter and Dwayne Howell each had 10 points in the loss for Reedley (6-9, 0-3).

Coalinga, CA – (2) Fresno 102 West Hills-Coalinga 57

Jared Small had 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Ethan Richardson added 14 points and 7 rebounds as 2nd ranked Fresno (12-3, 3-0) continued to cruise in Central Valley Conference action with a 102-57 win over West Hills-Coalinga (6-8, 1-1). Anthony Johnson had 16 points and Ricardo Time added 15 points and 5 rebounds for the Falcons which were outscored 60-27 in the second half.

Lemoore, CA – Porterville 111 West HIlls-Lemoore 50

Treager Wallace had 20 points and Elijah Cardenas added 17 points as Porterville (7-6, 2-0) stayed unbeaten in conference with a 111-50 win over West Hills-Lemoore (0-15, 0-3). Dylan Gonzalez had 14 points in the loss for West Hills-Lemoore.

Jordan Pumphrey had 22 points and Colyn Waldron added 17 points as Cerro Coso (8-7, 1-2) picked up their first conference win with a 83-78 home win over Merced (6-9, 2-1).

Contra Costa (8-9, 4-1) won their fourth straight conference game with a 91-87 win over 10th ranked Mendocino (11-5, 2-2). Jared Strate had 26 points and Gabe Knight added 22 points in the loss for the Eagles.

Pittsburg, CA – Marin 75 Los Medanos 71

Joey Potts had 19 points and Alfonso Murrie added 13 points as Marin (7-9, 3-2) stayed within a game of first place with a 75-71 win over 13th ranked Los Medanos (9-7, 2-2).

Alameda, CA – (7) Yuba 76 Alameda 64

Cornell Greenwood had 19 points and 10 rebounds and Brandon Recek added 14 points as 7th ranked Yuba (13-4, 4-1) got past Alameda 76-64. Patrick Washington had 25 points and Savon Crawley added 19 points in the loss for Alameda (5-11, 1-3).

DJ Burgess had 23 points and 5 rebounds and Ibn Zaid added 14 points as 3rd ranked Gavilan (15-2, 1-0) cruised to a 84-55 victory over Hartnell (7-9, 0-1) in their Coast South Conference opener on Wednesday night.

Trey Whitley had 19 points as 6th ranked Cabrillo (12-4, 1-0) won thier conference opener 72-47 over San Jose (0-16, 0-1). Jared Bailey had 16 points in the loss for the Jaguars.
