Modesto Tournament – Modesto, CA
In day four of the Modesto Tournament, 2nd ranked Fresno (12-3) booked a ticket into Saturday nights Championship game with a 72-65 victory over Diablo Valley (7-7). James O’Neal had 15 points and Ryan Swain added 13 points in the victory for the Rams. In the second semi final, 13th ranked Cosumnes River (8-3) won its eighth straight game with a win over Napa (5-5). Trenton Anthoony scored 20 points and Donald Mims had 8 points, 14 rebounds and 10 blocks for the Hawks in the win. Jayson Marquez had 17 points in the loss for Napa. In the fifth place bracket, Foothill (7-7) knocked off De Anza 72-62. In the other action, Chabot (7-6) knocked off 9th ranked Lassen 90-83. Kellen Sweetwyne and Decarlos Frank each had 21 points in the win for Chabot. Eric Duncan had 33 points in the loss for Lassen (14-5). In the consolation bracket, 8th ranked Ohlone (10-4) knocked off Sacramento 71-63. Dani Busto had 14 points and Ryo Tawatari added 12 points for Ohlone. Derek Rhodes had 11 points in the loss for Sacramento (5-6). In the other consolation game, Marquell Hubbard scored 24 points and Michael Meserole added 21 points as 15th ranked Columbia (8-4) downed Mendocino 69-60.
In Saturdays action, 15th ranked will take on 8th ranked Ohlone in the consolation championship. In the 5th place game, Foothill will face Chabot. In the 3rd place game, Napa will face Diablo Valley and Fresno will take on Cosumnes River in the championship game of the Modesto Tournament.
Sequoias Tournament – Visalia, CA
In first round action at the Sequoias Tournament, Ventura (6-7) beat Porterville in overtime 74-72. Robert Hunt scored 19 points and Jamal Lewis added 15 points in the victory. Tyrone Hall had 18 points in the loss for Porterville (1-8). In other first round action, 3rd ranked San Bernardino (13-2) jumped out to a 20 point halftime lead and beat Contra Costa 81-58. Perris Hicks had 16 points and Charles Callison added 14 points in the win. Tajai Johnson had 13 points in the loss for Contra Costa (2-6). Pasadena (2-7) ended a seven game losing streak with a 59-55 victory over Cerritos (3-7). Johnathan Henderson had 20 points and Donell Tuff added 12 points in the win for Pasadena. Jeff Gonzalez had 8 points and 7 rebounds in the loss for Cerritos. In the last game of the evening, College of the Sequoias (6-7) won their third straight game with a victory of El Camino 59-52. Brantley Bynum led the Giants with 17 points and Chris Smith added 13 points. Kane Wildermuth scored 12 points for El Camino (3-5) in the loss.
On Saturday, San Bernardino will take on Ventura in the first semi final. In the second semi final tournament host Sequoias will try and win their fourth game in a row as the Giants will take on Pasadena.
In the consolation bracket, Porterville will look to end a three game losing streak against Contra Costa. In the second game Cerritos will take on El Camino.
Saddleback Tournament – Mission Viejo, CA
2nd ranked Saddleback (15-1) led by 23 at halftime and went on to cruise to a 99-66 victory over Los Angeles Trade Tech (3-8). Dusty Baker had 18 points and Jalen Hall added 17 points in the win for the Gauchos. Antonio Singleton had 13 points and 7 rebounds in the loss for Trade Tech. In the second semi final, Long Beach (7-3) won their fifth straight game with 86-79 over 10th ranked Chaffey (12-6). Michael Shivers had 31 points and Chris Spencer added 18 points and 7 rebounds for the Vikings. Carl Robinson had 25 points and 8 rebounds for Chaffey in the loss.
In the consolation bracket, 12th ranked San Diego (8-6) beat 15th ranked Irvine Valley 51-39. Christian Jones scored 21 points in the win for the Knights. Andrew Bastien had 8 points and 7 rebounds in the loss for Irvine Valley (7-6). In other action, Mira Costa (6-5) cruised to a 63-48 victory over Fullerton (2-11). Buddha Boyd had 15 points and 7 rebounds, and Fareed Ahmed added 14 points and 13 rebounds in the win for Mira Costa. Jake McCloskey had 12 points in the loss for Fullerton.
Long Beach and Saddleback will meet in the championship on Saturday. In the 3rd place game, Chaffey will meet Los Angeles Trade Tech, and in the consolation final, San Diego City will take Mira Costa.
San Joaquin Delta Tournament – Stockton, CA
In first round action at the San Joaquin Delta Tournament, Sierra (4-5) knocked off Merced 85-55. Antonio Lewis had 27 points and 11 rebounds, and Cole Preston added 12 points in the win for Sierra. In other action 3rd ranked San Francisco (10-3) beat Butte 90-73. Jordan Belasco had 23 points and 11 assist and Dwayne Lee scored 17 points as 14th ranked San Joaquin Delta (7-3) beat Reedley 80-61. Walter Orr had 26 points in the loss for Reedley (3-8). In late action, Cabrillo (6-5) beat Alameda 60-56.
On Saturday, in the first semi final Sierra will face 3rd ranked San Francisco. The two teams met earlier this season at the Fresno Tournament which saw San Francisco pick up a victory 79-73. In the second semi final, tournament host San Joaquin Delta will take on Cabrillo.
In the consolation bracket, Butte will face Merced at 1pm. In the second game, Reedley will face Alamdea. Alameda (0-7) will be looking to pick up their first victory of the season.
Glendale Tournament – Glendale, CA
In the first semi final of the Glendale Tournament Rio Hondo beat Los Angeles Valley 67-65. In the second semi final Victor Valley beat Cuyamaca 69-68.
In the losers bracket, Palomar (6-5) beat tournament host Glendale 60-53. Ryan Schaefer had 15 points and James Sampson added 11 points in the victory. Dillon Biggs had 18 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for Glendale (1-8). In the second game of the consolation bracket, Larry Bush had 20 points and Joshua Brooks added 17 points as Moorpark (8-7) kept Orange Coast (0-10) winless with a 68-61 victory.
In the championship game, Rio Hondo will face Victor Valley. In the 3rd place game, Los Angeles Valley will take on Cuyamaca. In the consolation final, Moorpark will take on Palomar.
Santa Rosa Tournament – Santa Rosa, CA
In the semi finals of the Santa Rosa Tournament, College of the Canyons (6-4) beat 11th ranked American River 83-69. Coley Apsay had 21 points and Victor Nwaba added 17 points for the Cougars. In the second semi final tournament host Santa Rosa (6-6) beat Shasta 77-74. Parker Ferris had 19 points for the Bearcubs in the victory.
In the consolation bracket, 4th ranked College of Marin (8-2) got back on track and beat College of the Redwoods 92-86. Luke Chavez had 25 points and Brandon Kenilvort added 20 points for the Mariners. In other action Wayne Johnson Jr. had 28 points and 16 rebounds and Javonte Burton added 17 points and 8 rebounds as Los Medanos (3-7) upset 9th ranked Feather River 76-75 in overtime. Jarrell Tate scored 28 points and Lens Lubin added 27 in the loss for Feather River (11-6).
On Saturday, College of the Canyons will meet Santa Rosa in the championship game of the tournament. Canyons has beat Signal The Light Basketball Northern California ranked teams to get to the championship. In the 3rd place game, Shasta will face will a solid American River team. In the consolation final, College of Marin will battle Los Medanos.

Elijah White had 23 points and Gione Edwards added 14 points as Skyline (12-1) beat Hartnell by 10 on the road. Blake Claxton had 24 points in the loss for Hartnell (3-9).
Glendora, CA – Citrus 88 (9) Southwestern 87
John Roach scored 22 points, and Dominique Walker added 15 points and 7 assist as Citrus (6-5) upended 9th ranked Southwestern 88-87. Shawn Lathan had 21 points and Yobby Williams added 19 points and 12 rebounds in the loss for Southwestern (8-6)
Woodland Hills, CA – (14) Bakersfield 72 Los Angeles Pierce 54
Deandre Dickson and Jameik Riviere each scored 16 points as 14th ranked Bakersfield (8-3) cruised to a 72-54 victory over Los Angeles Pierce (8-8). Trey Archambeau had 15 points and Devron Reynolds added 14 points in the loss.
