In the championship game at the Kirby Mannon Pepsi/Wyndham Tournament, Drew Cobb had 14 points and 5 rebounds, and Fred Lavender added 11 points and 5 rebounds as 2nd ranked Fresno (11-3) got revenge and beat 6th ranked Sequoias 75-65 to bring home the title. Solomo Taylor had 17 points and Isaiah Johnson added 12 points in the loss for Sequoias (9-4).
In the 3rd place game of the tournament, Demetrius Thomas had 18 points and 13 rebounds and Christian Alvis added 12 points as 5th ranked Cerritos (11-3) picked up a 76-67 win over 13th ranked Ventura to take home 3rd place. Isaac Ramirez made seven three pointers and had 23 points and Jacob Alonzo added 16 points assists and 6 assists in the loss for Ventura (10-6).
In the consolation bracket, Kyle Mitchell went 9 of 11 from the floor and had 20 points and 9 rebounds and Josiah Woods added 16 points as Pasadena (7-6) cruised to a 67-52 victory over Shasta (8-7). Kellen Gerig had 10 points and 5 rebounds and was the only Knight in double figures for Shasta in the loss.
San Joaquin Delta Tournament
In the championship game in Stockton, Eddie Stansberry had 25 points and Michael Wright added 13 points as top ranked San Francisco (15-1) picked up a 83-66 win over 4th ranked Butte (11-3) to bring home the title. Eric Boose had 13 points and Darae Elliott added 12 points in the loss for the Roadrunners.
In the 3rd place game, Tynan Velasquez had 15 points and Kobe Ordonio added 14 points as Cabrillo (7-6) cruised past Sierra 61-43 in a defensive battle. Justin Asuncion had 15 points and Kenny Olsem added 11 points in the loss for Sierra (5-6).
In the consolation final, Jordan Dewitt had 17 points and John Berna added 16 points as San Joaquin Delta (3-6) won the consolation title with a 83-80 win over Merced (2-10).
