Sacramento, CA – (5) Santa Rosa 72 (14) Sacramento 67

Ryan Perez had 22 points and sophomore Skylar Chavez added 14 points as 5th ranked Santa Rosa (10-3, 2-0) went on the road and slipped past 14th ranked Sacramento 72-67 on Friday afternoon. Greg Milton III scored a game high of 32 points in the loss for Sacramento (9-5, 1-1).

Folsom, CA – Cosumnes River 77 Folsom Lake 66

Marcus Robinson had 16 points and Khari Hutt added 16 points as Cosumnes River (7-7, 2-0) picked up a 77-66 road win over Folsom Lake (4-9, 0-2). Matt Lyon had 17 points and Isiah Maun added 13 points in the loss for the Falcons.

Stockton, CA – (15) San Joaquin Delta 80 Modesto 61

Travis August had 20 points and Jimmy Beltz added 12 points as 15th ranked San Joaquin Delta (9-5, 1-1) cruised to a 80-61 home victory over Modesto (4-9, 0-1). Benny Simi had 15 points in the loss for the Pirates.

Cougar Holiday Classic


In the first game of the day, Leonard Wilson had 19 points and 4 rebounds and Zach Phipps added 15 points and 6 rebounds as Canyons (9-8) outscored Ohlone 53-17 in the 2nd half and beat the Renegades 75-59. Kirmarje Trent and Kyle Vickery each had 11 points for Ohlone (3-11) in the loss.

In the second game, Tyler Jelks had 19 points and Brian Simmons added 15 points as 10th ranked Los Angeles Trade Tech (9-2) cruised past Orange Coast 101-89 on Friday evening. Jonathan IIelji had 23 points and made six three pointers and Nate Harding added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for Orange Coast (2-12)


Cuyamaca Tournament

In first round action at the Cuyamaca Tournament, Stephon Bell had 23 points and 7 rebounds and Gianni Brown added 19 points and 8 rebounds as Antelope Valley (5-8) picked up a 79-71 win over 8th ranked San Diego Miramar (10-3).

In other action, Justin Smith had 16 points and Isaac Stell added 14 points as Cypress (10-3) won their third straight game with a 72-70 win over San Diego Mesa (1-12). Aren Thomas had 20 points in the loss for the Olympians. Cypress will face Antelope Valley in the semi finals tomorrow while San Diego Mesa will take on 8th ranked San Diego Miramar in the consolation bracket.

On the opposite side of the bracket, Cuyamaca (2-12) picked up a 69-58 win over Victor Valley (6-7) to advance to the semi finals. Eric Figueroa had 16 points and Alton Thompson had 12 points in the loss for the Rams.

In the final game of the first round, 5th ranked East Los Angeles (8-3) picked up a 90-70 win over Santa Ana (5-8) to advance to the semi finals. The Huskies will face Cuyamaca tomorrow in the semi finals while Santa Ana will take on Victor Valley in the consolation bracket.


Bay Valley Conference 

San Pablo, CA – Contra Costa 70 Solano 54

Contra Costa (5-9, 1-1) picked up their first conference victory with a 70-54 win over Solano (2-11, 0-2) which lost their fifth game in a row.

Napa, CA – Marin 80 Napa Valley 57

In other Bay Valley Conference action, Marin (6-7, 2-0) stayed in first place with a 80-57 road win over Napa Valley (3-11, 0-1). Braxton Adderly had 12 points and Tylor Gerrard added 10 points in the loss for the Storm.


Allan Hancock Holiday Classic

In the first game of the day, Josh Wilson-Murry made 10 three pointers and scored a game high of 39 points and added 9 rebounds and Alexander Karras added 19 points and 5 rebounds as Cuesta (10-4) cruised past San Jose 102-84 in Santa Maria. Jared Bailey had 22 points and Yukuba Mansaray added 20 points and 5 rebounds in the loss for San Jose (0-12) which lost for the 12th straight time this season.

In other action, Mike Mensah made six three pointers and had 20 points and Diego Lucas added 14 points as 3rd ranked Allan Hancock (11-2) picked up a 75-62 win over Merritt (6-6). Sherab Nyima had 18 points and Dvan Molden added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Thunderbirds.

In the final game of the evening, Jamario Harris had 20 points and made four three pointers and Marek Sullivan added 17 points and 11 rebounds as Palomar (5-7) used a big half to cruise past Los Angeles Southwest 74-58 on Friday night. DeAndre Rice-Currie had 20 points and 7 rebounds and Darren Calhoun added 12 points in the loss for Los Angeles Southwest (4-6).

Imperial Valley Crossover


In first game action, Chris Blount had 28 points and Josiah Woods added 18 points as 15th ranked Pasadena (8-4) needed overtime to sneak past Desert 89-85. Sam Skipper had 31 points and Nicholas Pete added 18 points in the loss for Desert (7-7) which lost their third game in a row.

In the inhale of the night, Los Angeles Harbor (7-5) went on the road and picked up a 72-68 win over Imperial Valley (5-8). Brenden Brocious had 13 points in the loss for the Arabs.

Redding, CA – Lane 88 Shasta 69

Lane Community College picked up a non conference victory over Shasta 88-69 on Friday afternoon. Michael Plunkitt had 16 points and Zach Thompson had 14 points and 5 rebounds in the loss for Shasta (2-12).

Valley Glen, CA – Los Angeles Valley 61 Irvine Valley 35

Micah Cooper had 21 points and 5 rebounds and Christian Hodge added 15 points and 8 rebounds as Los Angeles Valley (8-7) had a solid defensive game and picked up a 61-35 home win over Irvine Valley (3-13). Geoff Salas made five three pointers and scored 17 points in the loss for the Lasers.
