The Owls led by 6 at the half and picked up the victory over the Falcons. Cristian Perez had 19 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Tyler Payne added 12 points and 6 assists in the loss for Cerritos. Next up for 6th seeded Citrus will be 14th seeded Antelope Valley who picked up an upset win on Saturday night against Saddleback. Meanwhile, Cerritos finished the season with a 21-7 record.

In second round action Brian Beard had 24 points and 5 assists and Kameron Curl added 15 points and 4 rebounds as 8th seeded Chaffey (23-8) needed overtime to pick up a 75-73 win over 9th seeded Bakersfield (20-10) to advance to the sweet 16. The Panthers overcame 31 points from Jamar Hammonds and Shane Christie also added 9 points and 16 rebounds in the loss for Bakersfield. Chaffey will next face off against top seeded Fullerton next Saturday in a game to decide who will go to the Elite 8 in Livermore.

Darien McClain had 20 points and 4 assists and big man Alex Wilbourn added 12 points and 6 rebounds as 5th seeded San Diego (27-5) won their thirteenth straight game with a 73-62 win over 12th seeded Mt. San Antonio (17-11). The Mounties were led by Corey Grant which had 18 points and 5 assists and Ashton McLaurin added 17 points and 7 rebounds in the loss for Mt. San Antonio. San Diego will next face 13th seeded Riverside in the sweet 16 after taking care of the Mounties on their home court.

Sequan Walker had 18 points and 3 rebounds and Zeno Lake added 15 points and 7 rebounds and made the game winning basket as 10th seeded East Los Angeles (22-6) went on the road and picked up a 79-77 win over 7th seeded Mt. San Jacinto (22-11). The Eagles were led by Carl Brown who had 16 points and 11 rebounds and Jaryn Taylor added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the loss for Mt. San Jacinto. Leading scorer Tre Nottingham struggled bad on the night and finished the game 1 for 15 and 0 of 8 from the three point line. East Los Angeles will next face 2nd seeded Compton next Saturday.

Jayvon Brown had 26 points and Anthony Fitzpatrick added 22 points and 8 rebounds as 2nd seeded Compton (27-4) overcame a two point halftime deficit and picked up a 96-80 victory over 18th seeded Ventura (18-13) to advance to the round of 16. Ryal Sells had 20 points and Cordel Hankerson added 18 points and 5 rebounds for the Pirates in the loss. 2nd seeded Compton will next face off against 10th seeded East Los Angeles for a chance to go to the Final Eight.

Kenny Barnes had 26 points and Ian Fox added 24 points and 8 rebounds as top seeded Fullerton (23-6) opened up a big first half lead and cruised past 17th seeded Barstow 96-65 to advance to the round of sixteen. Jordan Rogers Garcis had 14 points and Christian Drayton added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for Barstow (16-12). Fullerton will next face 8th seeded Chaffey in the round of 16.

Antelope Valley shot 69% from the floor and Cory Dollarhide made five three pointers and had 19 points and Jailen Gill added 12 points and 9 rebounds as 14th seeded Antelope Valley (21-10) opened up a 10 point lead and slipped past 3rd seeded Saddleback 79-67 on the road. T.J. Shorts had 20 points and Breaon Brady added 19 points and 4 rebounds in the loss for Saddleback (24-5). The Marauders will next face 6th seeded Citrus in the next round to advance to the Final 8 next weekend.

13th seeded Riverside picked up a 68-59 win over 4th seeded San Bernardino to advance to the sweet 16.

Richard Reed had 17 points and Armoni Rivers added 14 points as 13th seeded American River (16-10) overcame a 7 point deficit and upended 4th seeded Fresno 66-64 to advance to the round of 16. Tyus Millhollin had 19 points and was the only Fresno player to be in double figures as the Rams finish their season 23-7 on the year. The Beavers will next be on the road again and face 5th seeded Canada for a berth to the Elite Eight.

Zach Copeland had a game high 26 points and Eddie Stansberry added 12 points as top seeded San Francisco (27-2) survived a close one and slipped past 17th seeded Cabrillo 65-61 to move on to the round of 16 on Saturday night. Amenofis Mitchell had 19 points and Linton Acliese added 15 points in the loss for the Seahawks which finished their season with a record 20-8 record.

Anthony Smith had 29 points and Jamel White added 21 points as 2nd seeded Feather River 24-3 crushed 18th seeded Sierra 114-76 to move into the round of 16. Eric Toles finished off his junior college career by scroing 34 points in the loss for the Wolverines which finished their season with a 12-18 record.

Josiah Wood had 22 points and 8 rebounds and Namanja Kovacevic added 12 points as 9th seeded Butte (20-9) opened up a 13 point halftime lead and picked up a 78-63 road win over 8th seeded Sacramento (18-11).
